This past Monday our own Katie Buresh participated in the Wichita Business Journal’s Bizwomen Mentoring event. This special event pairs women business leaders with women in their community in a one-on-one coaching atmosphere. In a casual, fast-paced environment the women had the opportunity to share insight from their own career experiences and provide insight on topics such as beginning your career, unexpected changes that occur along the way, working successfully with different personality types and creating and managing a work-life balance. Katie was also able to share about some of the programs we offer here at Conco like our Cool to be Blue program as well as our help sponsoring the trade academy at Bishop Carroll High School. An empowering piece of advice Katie shared with the ladies was that “you can lead at any level. If leadership comes down to influence, then always making sure you have a positive attitude will ensure you have a positive influence on others.” We are so proud of Katie for serving as a mentor to the women of our community!
We recently completed a tenant improvement remodel for the Vascular Institute at Kansas Heart Hospital! We demoed their existing facility to its shell and remodeled to give them 4,500 square feet of new space. We hope they love their new space!2
