Established in 1975, Conco Construction has become one of the top 10 general contractors in Central Kansas. We moved to our 24-acre site on Ohio Street in 2015, which has given us room to grow and serve the deepest backlog in the history of our company.

Conco is also home of the Red White Blue Collar Careers, an initiative launched to address the skilled-trade labor shortage in South-Central Kansas. Our “Cool to be Blue” platform is synonymous with this initiative, as it puts a spotlight on the skilled craftsman, a central figure in our American dream to own, invest, build, and prosper. Our goal is to actively build awareness among high-school guidance counselors about the critical need for skilled-trade labor in tomorrow’s generation of workers.

For the times we need to hire outside of our company, we’ve developed an extensive catalogue of suppliers and subcontractors in and around Wichita. Our experience with these companies allow us to pre-qualify vendors in advance of distributing bid packages.
