With a decade of service to Conco, Aaron Powers qualifies as a veteran team member. He earned his stripes in the field as a superintendent with responsibility for the day-to-day operations of construction projects and supervision of direct field crews. He knows first-hand what quality control, safety, scheduling, strong collaboration and communication mean to project success. With a Conco resume that includes large and complex projects, he understands what a good project manager charged with planning, coordinating and performing work needs to get the job done.
Powers hired on with a degree in Construction Science and Management from Kansas State University and several internships under his belt. He joined Conco to “get hands-on experience, learn to build and make an impact,” and appreciates still that no two days are ever the same on the path to exceeding client expectations. “There are always new obstacles. We’re driven to overcome them with solutions like our ability to self-perform and strong equipment fleet. The work can be very challenging, but it is also very rewarding.”
