Nick Penner, who has a degree in Construction Science and Management from K-State, says Conco is a great group of passionate people with extensive knowledge to share. He’s part of a team of project managers and assistant project managers who work together (and have lunch together every Friday) to grow and tackle challenges.

With years of previous construction experience at local construction companies across many industries, Nick has served as a project manager/estimator, senior project manager, and as a mentor to project managers and project engineers. He has deep experience with design-build and CMAR projects, running jobs from $24,000 to $34 million.

Conco is a growing company and great place, he says, to get experience in many different industries. He believes self-performance is a differentiator. “Other companies are trending toward more of a construction manager role. Because we self-perform we help control job costs and schedule.”
