From day one at Conco, Paula McNutt established herself as a listener. She made and is still making daily rounds to “interact with and bridge departments, create partnerships, be creative, and look at things with a fresh perspective to challenge the status quo.” No surprise, she values Conco’s innovative spirit.
McNutt brought 25 years’ experience in the financial industry, in statewide business development and relationship management, to Conco. She’s steers a steady course here, investing day to day in building relationships inside and outside the organization, working to discern how they can grow, develop and deepen to be win-win for Conco and its clients.
A certified compliance and risk manager with a degree in Business Administration from Friends University in Wichita, McNutt watches the Conconian mindset closely. “Our core values are lived here … they’re not words on paper or a plaque.” On the “relational” side of those values, she’s quick to share a welcome aboard story about joining Conco: “Touring the shop and yard with the staff was fun and educational. They welcomed me with new safety glasses and took time to explain processes, equipment, the why and the how. I got to meet the drivers and learn their Conco stories. It made me feel good to be part of this.”
